Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will be essential to your success in this role.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences Operate the Micros POS system for processing orders and payments Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service is essential Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism
