Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, to process orders and manage transactions. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink options. Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for replenishment. Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and responsible serving practices. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.

Requirements

Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
