We're not just another restaurant; we're a vibrant hub where the spirit of the Maritimes lives in beautiful Peggy's Cove. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll be the face of our establishment, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining and drinking experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and maintaining the cash register. Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of low supplies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Be a team player, assisting when needed and coordinating duties with other FOH staff Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.

Skills

Strong customer service skills to create a positive experience for guests. Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions. Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety standards are met. Accurate cash handling and transaction management is required Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently. Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change accurately. A helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers alike.
