Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, craft high-quality drinks, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The bartender will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and ensuring responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders and offering recommendations Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages as needed throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially as a bartender or server Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly Familiarity with the food industry standards related to hospitality and responsible alcohol service

Pay: $17.60-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
