Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic

Server/Bartender

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This is a dual-role position: you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, taking and serving food orders, managing inventory, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the entire establishment--not just the bar.

Responsibilities

Bartending & Service

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Take food and drink orders, deliver them promptly, and ensure excellent guest service. Handle cash, tabs, and card transactions accurately. Monitor alcohol service in line with "Serve It Right" guidelines.

Customer Experience

Create a welcoming and engaging environment for patrons. Oversee billiard and snooker table usage to ensure smooth operations. Address guest inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide outstanding hospitality.

Operations & Inventory

Assist with inventory management: track stock levels, restock as needed, and communicate orders to management. Collaborate with the kitchen to ensure timely service of food and drinks.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the

entire establishment

(not only the bar), including tables, bar area, washrooms, and common spaces. Wash glassware, utensils, and maintain sanitation standards across all work areas.

Qualifications

Previous experience in both serving and bartending. "Serve It Right" certification (required). Strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Excellent hospitality and communication skills. Knowledge of food safety and handling practices. Basic math skills for handling cash and managing tabs. Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.

Pay: $17.20-$17.50 per hour
