Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner. Maintain an organized and clean bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS for processing orders and payments. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper handling of food items. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary. Stay updated on drink recipes, menu items, and promotions to enhance guest experience.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are required.
