Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, crafting delicious drinks, and ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Take orders from customers accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about the menu, and making recommendations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and food safety practices. Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with Micros POS is a plus. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be at least 21 years of age or older as per legal requirements for serving alcohol. Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
