Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations based on preferences. Operate the POS system (Micros POS preferred) for processing orders and handling cash transactions. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines in food handling and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink pricing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. A friendly demeanor with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for customers. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
