Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Bartender/Server to join our team for a hybrid role between our Brampton and Bolton locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and delivering outstanding customer service.

This is a multifaceted role where the candidate will be responsible for bartending, food preparation, hosting, serving, and customer interaction. There is no separate kitchen staff--you will be handling and preparing food items directly at the bar. We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of the full guest experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety standards Take customer orders for both food and drinks, and provide helpful recommendations Host and greet guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcome Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately Maintain a clean and organized bar and food prep area Follow all food safety, beverage handling, and sanitation procedures Check customer ID to verify age requirements for alcohol service Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and handle cash transactions accurately Monitor customer behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere Communicate effectively with team members and customers Provide friendly, proactive service to ensure a great overall experience

Requirements:

Smart Serve certification (required) Food Handler Certificate (required or willingness to obtain) Previous experience in bartending, food service, or hospitality preferred Ability to multitask and manage both food and beverage service Cash handling experience and basic math skills Familiarity with POS systems Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Availability to work a mix of shifts at both Brampton and Bolton locations, including evenings and weekends Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
