Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightlife environments. As a Bartender, you will create exceptional beverage experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your ability to manage time effectively and provide outstanding service will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food pairings and specialty drinks. Operate POS systems for taking orders, processing payments, and managing inventory. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist in setting up for events, including banquets and catering services as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Stay updated on industry trends, including new cocktails, brewing techniques, and beverage innovations.

Experience

Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Excellent sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food service industry. A background in hospitality or retail math is beneficial. Experience in brewing or cocktail creation is an advantage.
