Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Mixologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for mixology, a keen eye for detail, and excellent customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with standard recipes and procedures.

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with patrons in a friendly and professional manner.

- Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol service.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and glassware.

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.

- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.

- Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly.

- Comply with all local and provincial laws and regulations related to alcohol service and health and safety.

- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the bar area.

- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the establishment.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3 years experience as a bartender/mixologist in a similar setting is required.

- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.

- Responsible Beverage Service Certification (Smart Serve) required.

- Must be of legal drinking age in Ontario (19 years or older).

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour
