The Bartender/Lounge Host is responsible for running the Placery Lounge while upholding the service and quality standards.
With a combination of a passion for the job and strong communication skills, you have the ability and empowerment to make the guest's experience more than memorable. You must have a positive and professional upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests.
Duties:
Bartend and provide exceptional customer service to guests at the lounge by providing drinks and food orders.
Prepare drinks for our guests in a timely manner
Maintain the bar and lounge area stock and clean. Display a professional, friendly demeanour at all times
Able to know and promote bar items, all food menu items, and ongoing promotions
Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits, beers and wines. Serve and deliver genuine, exceptional service to our dining guests
Demonstrate enthusiasm and knowledge of our menu offerings, drink menus and any ongoing promotions
Taking accurate orders of food and beverage while giving attentive, revenue-generating suggestions
Be able to provide a professional and friendly dining experience to ensure guest satisfaction at all times
Must be able to work on evening shifts starting 4 PM, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player attitude
Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
Qualifications:
Bartending experience is an asset
Display high initiative, be self-motivated and require minimal supervision
Able to pick up to 25lbs
Bilingual in both official languages is an asset
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
