Bartender/Kitchen Helper

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash handling with integrity. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and kitchen station, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, food handling, and serving in various settings including banquet events and catering functions. Manage multiple responsibilities efficiently through effective time management skills. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously. Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist in bar setup for events or daily operations. Support kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed during busy hours. Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and promote a safe environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong skills in sales, serving, cash handling, and basic math are essential for accurate transactions. Knowledge of food safety protocols and food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure. Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if required. Basic understanding of brewing processes is a plus for beverage preparation roles. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and professionalism are essential qualities for success in this role.
