Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while crafting delicious drinks. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Uphold hospitality standards by creating a friendly and inviting environment for all patrons.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food service industry. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous. Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Basic math skills are required for cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
