This resort is in Killarney, Ontario-Sportsman\'s Inn ****MUST BE LEGALLY ENTITLED TO WORK IN CANADA AND PRESENTLY RESIDE IN CANADA TO BE CONSIDERED**** JOB DESCRIPTION FOR BARMAN / BARTENDER POSITION TITLE: Barman / Bartender REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager / F&B Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Bartenders will be responsible to prepare and serve drinks to customers. Must be able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and expectations. The purpose of this position is to interact with the hotel guests and ensure they have a great experience at the bar or lounge. Bartenders should maintain positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. Keep the bar counter and work area neat and clean at all times. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the bar manager in administrative tasks.
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Work independently and purposefully when required.
• Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with hotel standard drink recipes.
• Provide guidance to guests on resort activities, dining options and general resort and Regional information.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and Promotions
• Check identification of the guest to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products.
• Clean up after customers and clean work area.
• Wash glassware and utensils after each use.
• Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. if required.
• Perform physical activities such as lifting and stooping.
• Maintain liquor inventory and consumption.
• Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Perform other duties as and when assigned by the hotel management.

PRE REQUISITIES: Must be able to communicate in English writing and speaking and other languages are advantages. Good personality and Positive interpersonal skills required. Smart Serve Certified. EXPERIENCE: Previous bartending experience required in an upscale or luxury property. Experience in handling Shared accommodation at a nominal fee Staff fun days Free use of canoes, Kayaks, paddle boards and pool Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.50-$16.50 per hour Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Experience:

• serving: 1 year (preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (required)
