Passionate about everything Food & Beverage and putting a smile on our guests\' faces? As Bartender, you will have the perfect opportunity to touch the hearts of our guests by making their special occasions truly unforgettable.Contract Date: May 15th, 2024 - October 31st, 2024.What you will be doing:Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare beverage orders including a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products available to the guest and keep Servers informed of the availability of bar products
  • Ensure the bar is kept in a clean and orderly condition at all times
  • Utilize computer operating system for ordering food and beverages and obtaining reports necessary for remittance
  • Order stock, maintain inventory control, and ensure all beverages sold are accounted for
  • Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations
  • Sell, present and serve beverages in accordance with hotel standards
  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned, including running food for servers.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
  • Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
QualificationsYour experience and skills include:
  • Minimum three years of experience working in food and beverage, preferably in a restaurant/bar environment
  • Previous bartending experience Required
  • Hotel management diploma is an asset
  • Demonstrates knowledge and interest in wines, liquor and beer
  • Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shift
  • Aptitude for repetitive physical work including but not limited to: lifting heavy objects, some exceeding 100 lbs, moving heavy carts and pallets.
