Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Take and prepare drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide accurate change
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Knowledge of drink recipes and bartending techniques
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
