Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly. Operate POS systems (Aloha, Micros) for processing transactions efficiently. Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies. Assist in training new staff on bartending techniques and customer service standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods, particularly during banquets or special events.

Skills

Proficient in Aloha POS and Micros POS systems. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently. Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Previous fine dining or nightclub experience preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor. Experience in food service or the food industry is a plus. Familiarity with brewing techniques may be beneficial for specialty beverage preparation. Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
