Key Responsibilities
Bartender Duties:
Prepare, mix, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
Maintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and inventory control.
Monitor customer alcohol consumption and prevent over-serving.
Process POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
Kitchen Manager Duties:
Oversee food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu adjustments to meet dietary needs and ensure consistent quality.
Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed in compliance with regulations.
Address and resolve kitchen-related issues or customer concerns promptly.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning tables, floors, and surfaces as needed.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent service, engaging with guests in a positive, professional manner.
Multitask effectively by managing both kitchen and bar duties while interacting with customers.
Handle guest inquiries, issues, and requests with professionalism and attention to detail.
General Duties:
Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for use.
Perform light cleaning during slow periods, including wiping down surfaces, replenishing supplies, and ensuring the restrooms are clean.
Qualifications
Previous bartending experience (2+ years) is preferred.
Experience in food preparation and kitchen management is required.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Proficiency with POS systems and managing orders.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and mixing techniques.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Smart Serve certification required.
Must be at least 21 years old.
