Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for guests
- Take drink orders and prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage customers
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the POS system accurately
- Engage with customers, answer questions about the menu, and make recommendations
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
