Gerni's Farmhouse is an Austrian/German Restaurant, named after the Resort's owner, Mr. Gernot Langes-Swarovski. It focuses on authentic Bavarian cuisine.

Staff accommodation is available in double rooms for full time Sparkling Hill employees, working 40 hours per week.

Duties for this position will include:

Setup bar with necessary ingredients before service begins Pour wine and beer Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages Provide consistent and high quality service at all times Adhere to and assist in the development of recipes when requested Maintain knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits on the menu in order to answer questions and provide excellent service Setup and takedown bar at banquets and functions with all necessary supplies Provide bar service at banquets and functions Stop serving guests alcohol after it is determined they have consumed too much Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Completed bartending course preferred Minimum 1-2 years in similar bartending position but willing to train the right candidate Current Serving It Right Certificate Knowledge of standard wines, beers, and drink recipes Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environment Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Reliable transportation essential
