Responsibilities
Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas in compliance with health regulations
Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food industry standards
Provide friendly assistance to guests, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
Skills
Proven experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Good communication skills to interact clearly with team members and guests
Familiarity with the food industry and serving protocols is advantageous
