Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at the Hole 19 Bar & Grill located on site at the Fraser Glen Golf Course.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and hospitality industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to maintain high service standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred. Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be knowledgeable about food safety practices and regulations. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds) as needed.
