We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Barn Hand to assist with daily farm operations and animal care. The Barn Hand will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment on the farm, ensuring the well-being of livestock and the proper operation of farm equipment.

Duties

Assist with feeding, watering, and caring for livestock such as horses, cattle, or other farm animals Perform cleaning and maintenance of barns, stalls, and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness and safety Operate farm machinery including tractors, loaders, or other equipment as needed Handle heavy lifting of feed bags, hay bales, or other supplies to support daily farm activities Maintain and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with farm equipment Assist with pasture management, fencing repairs, and general farm upkeep Support the team during various farm projects and seasonal activities

Qualifications

Prior experience or knowledge of farm machinery and mechanical systems is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic with attention to safety protocols Physical stamina to handle physically demanding tasks throughout the day Reliable transportation to access the farm location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
