Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in coffee preparation and service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your ability to manage time effectively while delivering exceptional service will contribute to our customers' overall experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Micros POS system for processing transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to coffee preparation and service. Pay: $17.20-$25.69 per hour
