Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to exceptional customer service will help enhance the overall experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during shifts.

Skills

Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for patrons. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.

Pay: $16.50-$16.70 per hour
