The Barista works in the Front of House position serving guests bar made drinks including alcoholic beverages (beer/wine) and house made food from the kitchen. The job entails (but not limited to) placing & fulfilling customer food and drink orders placed in person, online and/or through external ordering systems. Our barista positions are unique as services extend to server responsibilities such as table food service, managing the dining room, reservations and customer experience. The position is mostly daytime and early evenings with opportunity to work nights on occasion.

Baristas make and serve house made drinks following cafe recipes, educate customers on specialty coffee & wine, and set the vibe in the dining space. They participate in inventory/stock up, cleaning and maintenance of cafe space and equipment, following company standards & guidelines. All employees must follow Public Health & AGCO guidelines and hold the appropriate smart serve certifications to work on premise.

Applicants must be available to work on weekends.

Job Requirements

- Valid Smart Serve

- Able to lift up to 30 lbs

- Able to work standing during long periods

- Able to work in an environment with all food types & possible allergens (meat, dairy, gluten, nuts, etc.)

- Able to work in a team environment valuing respect of people & spaces

- Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in written

- Able to learn and apply new skills

- Available to work weekends

Selection Criteria

Candidates with experience in the food & service industry are preferred.
