Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items with efficiency and care. Manage daily cafe operations, including opening, closing, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing their needs promptly. Oversee cash handling, cashiering using POS systems , and ensure accurate sales transactions. Supervise food safety protocols, proper food handling, preparation, and serving procedures to meet health regulations. Lead and motivate team members to deliver excellent service while managing schedules and time effectively. Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders when needed, and ensure proper food storage practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and familiarity with cafe operations. Previous management experience in a food service or retail environment is highly preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food preparation techniques, and serving procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies safely, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if needed.
