What you'll do

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and flair Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and payment handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards Assist in food preparation and ensure all items meet quality standards before serving Manage cash handling accurately, including processing transactions and balancing cash drawers Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and enthusiasm Stay informed about menu offerings and seasonal specials to effectively upsell to customers

Basic qualifications

Previous barista experience or background in the food service industry is preferred Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations
