We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, preparing delicious beverages while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for espresso-based drink preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the cafe.

Duties

Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, speciality drinks, food and bakery items according to established recipes and safety guidelines Operate the POS system for processing customer orders and payments Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and transactions Follow food safety protocols during food handling and preparation

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred (minimum 6 months) Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for guests Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining individual responsibilities Flexible availability
