We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing outstanding service to our customers, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Ensure cleanliness of the coffee bar area, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards.
Assist with food preparation and serving as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Experience
Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers positively.
