Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in the food service industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background as a Barista and food handling, with the ability to manage time effectively while providing exceptional service to our Guests. This role requires proficiency in operating POS systems, including Micros POS, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards, coffee making, Latte, Cappuccino and specialty drinks / cocktails.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their inquiries promptly. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, for transactions and order processing. Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista a must, in addition the food industry is preferred, serving experience considered a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
