We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation, food handling, and customer interaction will contribute to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system for efficient order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in food preparation. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Demonstrate time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests. Familiarity with basic math for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently. Experience with cashiering duties is beneficial, along with an understanding of serving protocols. Cafe hours are Monday to Friday 7am -3pm (Weekends off)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.10-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
