Transcend Coffee

is a coffee roaster that has two cafe's in Edmonton, Alberta. It has been in business since 2006. Transcend is committed to sustainable coffee relationships with the producers it buys green coffee from and works hard to ensure that the quality it sources is reflected in the manner in which the coffee is roasted and served in our cafes.

We are looking for 3 energetic and customer service-focused individuals to join our team of talented baristas. 2 for our 124th street location and 1 for our Ritchie location.

Must have the ability to work various shifts, weekend availability is required.

Previous customer service and hospitality experience is an asset

Must have the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on a frequent basis
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

We can teach you how to make great coffee, but you need to bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to build relationships with customers who visit us to drink and purchase great-tasting coffee.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED:

As the first person customers see when they walk in, you will provide excellent customer service, taking customer orders & answering questions

Serving orders and preparing specialty coffee, tea, and other drinks

Maintaining cleanliness of the front counter and seating area, washing dishes as needed, and keeping the backroom tidy.

Restocking inventory in pastry cases and keeping retail coffee fully stocked

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and desire to be part of the culture at Transcend.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to keep the team's spirit positive and high.

Starting wage is $15 per hour in addition to weekly tips.
