Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while delivering high-quality beverages and exceptional service. Your ability to multitask and manage time effectively will ensure that every customer has a delightful experience at our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates. Familiarity with cash handling and cashiering processes is beneficial for this role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers from diverse backgrounds. Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is an advantage. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.

Pay: $15.70-$16.75 per hour
