Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, providing an exceptional experience for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and provide change as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee station and dining area. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling and basic math skills is essential for processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of POS systems is a plus but training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to food safety practices is important for maintaining quality standards in food preparation. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
