Au Pain Dore cafe and bakery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and exceptional customer service skills. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Time management skills are essential for ensuring smooth operations during peak hours.
