Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to become a valuable member of our team! In this role, you'll play a key part in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers, all while preparing delicious beverages and food. Your ability to multitask and provide exceptional service will help enhance the experience for everyone who visits us.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and quality standards. Efficiently use the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing, cash handling, and transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while following proper food handling guidelines. Engage with customers by taking accurate orders and providing personalized recommendations based on preferences. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any restocking needs in a timely manner. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food service or a related field is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques is beneficial. A friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills to engage customers and work well within a team.
