Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role requires a passion for the food industry, strong time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Barista will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring all food safety and handling standards are met.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages using POS systems such as Micros POS Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety standards Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service Food preparation including assembling food items and maintaining quality standards Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus Experience in the food industry or food service environment is beneficial Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$23.09 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
