Summary

As a Barista at Second Cup, you will play a vital role in creating an inviting experience for our customers in our cafes. Your passion for coffee and dedication to customer service will help us maintain our reputation for quality and excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages according to Second Cup standards. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including food preparation areas. Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure proper handling of food products. Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions and inventory management.
