We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting shortages as needed.

Experience

Previous Experience in Barista position required

Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cashiering and cash handling practices is beneficial. Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes is important for success in this role.
