Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that each guest has a memorable experience, making them want to return time and again.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as food items, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling procedures. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help others, creating a positive environment for both customers and colleagues. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
