Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, to process customer orders efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in food preparation. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations during checkout. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with food industry practices, including food handling and safety protocols. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing accuracy. Experience with cashiering duties is a plus. Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
