We're building a team that values hustle, heart, and high standards. We are looking to add passionate and dedicated Baristas to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and European baked goods. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and processing customer transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall efficiency. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Experience in food preparation within the food industry is preferred. Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient order processing. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
