BARISTA

We are hiring Barista's to join our team! Detour Coffee Roasters is a boutique coffee brand based out of the Southern Ontario area. The Wincey Mills location in Paris, ON is looking for talented team members who are passionate and excited about providing our customers with an exceptional and delightful experience!

AS A BARISTA, YOU WILL MAKE YOUR IMPACT BY:

Being the face of the cafe, you are an important part of our customers' days, and an expert in handcrafting delicious, perfect beverages Educating customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions. Preparing and selling coffee drinks and food menu items by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino, soups and sandwiches. Maintaining inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar. Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

YOU CAN EXCEL AS A BARISTA IF YOU HAVE:

Passion for great food and outstanding service Strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude Enthusiasm and are customer focused Retail, customer service experience considered an asset Previous Barista experience considered an asset
