Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only the preparation of coffee and other drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a memorable experience every time they visit.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Prepare sandwich and bowl Operate the Micros POS system for order taking and payment processing efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils, to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations during checkout. Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to all food handling guidelines. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while managing time effectively.

Requirements

Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. Pay: $17.85-$21.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
