Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers and ensuring that each guest has an enjoyable experience. Your expertise in coffee preparation and knowledge of food safety will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks. Prepare simple dishes such as Bowl, sandwich, pasta, etc Operate the Micros POS system efficiently for order taking and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and serving areas. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions responsibly, including cash handling and basic math calculations for accurate change. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Uphold food handling practices to guarantee the safety and quality of all food items served.

Skills

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with the food industry, including food preparation and service standards. Proficient in basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
