We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and process payments accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including food preparation areas and dining spaces. Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Uphold food handling protocols to guarantee the safety and quality of all products served. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment. Simple Baking and preparing of recipes.

Skills

Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to operate POS systems effectively, particularly Micros POS. Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
