Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage; experience with Micros POS is a plus. Pay: $17.85-$26.46 per hour
