Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages. This role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, cash handling, and food safety within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, morning breakfast and specialty beverages according to company standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Ensure accurate cash transactions and handle payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including serving snacks or light food items Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Restock supplies and ingredients as necessary to ensure smooth operations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
